I have been a photographer for nearly a decade, while I primarily photograph for commercial brands in the automotive industry, I always keep time aside for this passion project. My drive and passion to help rescues stems from our own dog, Maxi. Her story always moves me but thankfully motivates me deeply to do our part to stop the cycle of abuse and neglect.

I started working in kennels from a young age, often alongside rescue animals, and gradually began to understand their body language and behaviours more clearly. I then moved on to study animal management, and now I work closely with both animals and people. Growing up in a little zoo—surrounded by ferrets, skunks, rabbits, hamsters, assorted reptiles and, of course, dogs—I will always regard animals as equals, if not outright betters.

I’m the reason Sploot & Co. exists! My story starts in Romania, living with some not very nice people. I ended up in kennels looking for a forever home, not having had any luck, I came over to the UK. Here I spent another 9 months in a rescue with only a failed adoption to my name. I finally found my forever home with my mum, followed by my dad two years later! The love they have for me and the heartache of my story let them to dream up Sploot & Co.
